Here is a slideshow of photos taken from the last 19 minutes or so of action in a GMC Gold clash between Piscataway Tech and South Amboy on the last Saturday of January. The Guvs jumped out to a 14-8 lead with about three minutes to go in the first half when Piscataway Tech rallied with a 9-2 run that was capped by a half court heave by Ali Austin that went in at the buzzer for a 17-16 lead at the half. The game went back and forth for the next 11 minutes or so until after Tim Kales made two free throws to tie the game at 33-33 with 5:04 remaining. From there, it was all Piscataway Tech thanks to back to back layups by Aziz and Ali Austin, and then free throws from Aziz Austin, Letrell West, and Kyle Wider to cap a 10-2 game ending spurt for a 43-35 victory.
