South Brunswick Falls to Middletown North in Nightcap
LINDEN, NJ–On Tuesday night, GMC Hoops traveled up to the Linden P.A.L. To take in action from the second week of the 2016 Linden Fall League. The site saw the final two games of the evening including the nightcap involving one of the two teams from the Greater Middlesex Conference participating in the league.
South Brunswick took on Middletown North in the finale, and the Lions jumped out to a 7-0 lead early on, and led by a score of 33-13 late in the first half before the Vikings of SBHS woke up with a barrage of three pointers in the third period to highlight a 22-6 rally over a span of 12:11 that closed the gap to 39-35.
However, Middletown North scored the last three points of the third, and 11 of the first 15 points of the fourth to take a 53-39 lead and cruised from there for a 17 point victory. Below are some of the results from Week Two action at the Linden Fall League:
