One in Nearly 11 Games Seen By GMC Hoops Went to Overtime This Season
SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ—-On the eve of the 2019 GMCT Boys Round of 16 Games, GMC Hoops took inventory of the games it has covered this year, and found something interesting. Of the 98 games seen to date this season by GMC Hoops, 38 of them were decided by single digits including 9 that went to overtime.
In short, about 4 of every 10 games seen by GMC Hoops this season was decided by less than 10 points with nearly one in eleven going to overtime. These totals were based on all the games seen by GMC Hoops including non-conference games, Boys and Girls GMC JV games, and Boys and Girls GMC Varsity Games. It has been a crazy year.
