Zebras Representing GMC in Showcase at Bound Brook High School

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–On Tuesday night, GMC Hoops received the final schedule of games in the 2020 New Jersey Panthers High School Showcase presented by Coaches Choice USA.

The showcase will be held during the weekend of January 11-12, 2020 with the girls games played on Saturday, January 11th and the boys contests held on Sunday, January 12th at Bound Brook High School.

On the boys side, New Brunswick is the lone school representing the Greater Middlesex Conference with an 11:00 AM game against Toms River East of the Shore Conference. The Zebras enter the season ranked 3rd in the GMC Hoops Pre-Season Top 10.

Zebras Have Solid Team Coming Back

The Zebras have the likes of 1,100 point scorer, Ahyan Brown-Miller returning along with big man Tahjay Moore, fellow senior teammate, Ny’dir Harmon, and GMC Hoops Freshman of the Year, Josiah Brown. In addition, the Zebras have the likes of Will Britton, Jayvon Taylor, and Tajee Welcome to provide additional perimeter scoring.

Teams from Several Conferences Participating

There will be four games on tap that Sunday involving teams from five conferences:

  • Colonial Valley Conference (Hightstown)
  • Greater Middlesex Conference (New Brunswick)
  • North Jersey Interscholastic Conference (Saddle River Day)
  • Shore Conference (St. John Vianney and Toms River East)
  • Skyland Conference (Bound Brook, Franklin, and Immaculata)
