CRANFORD, NJ–On Thursday afternoon, GMC Hoops headed over to Cranford High School to take in the consolation game between Old Bridge and Nutley from the Cougars vs. Cancer Tourney. The Knights led by 12 on a couple of occasions in the second half, but Nutley rallied with a 17-4 spurt over a span of 9:16 to take a 39-38 lead with 3:02 remaining. There were three lead changes before senior forward Isaiah Velez and sophomore guard took charge down the stretch to give Old Bridge the hard fought 48-43 victory.
