After turning in a solid effort in a very competitive scrimmage with Perth Amboy on December 11th, Sayreville’s Sam Jones kicked off his senior season in fine style.
Against Oratory Prep of Summit in the 2025 Friends of South Amboy Games, Jones tallied his game high on 12 total field goals, including three treys, while netting 6 of 8 from the foul line. He also collected 4 rebounds, an assist, and a steal.
Jones, who recently announced his commitment to play for Drew University next fall, joined forces with Sayreville forward Chidi Chukwurah to score 60 of the Bombers’ 75 points, including 40 of the team’s 54 points in the paint.
