Take a look at the past winners of the GMC Hoops Trophy. The GMC Hoops Trophy is an award given out to the Greater Middlesex Conference school that has earned the most points by virtue of winning as many games as possible out of the ones that are seen by Greg Machos, the owner of the website.
Although the site officially began issuing this award in the 2003-04 season, there are records of games going back to 2002-03. In addition, GMC Hoops recently took time to look back at the first two years of the site to come up with winners for 2000-01 and 2001-02.
St. Joseph’s has won the most with 10 while Cardinal McCarrick, Colonia, Piscataway, and St. Thomas Aquinas are a distant second with two. St. Thomas Aquinas has won the last two. Cardinal McCarrick is no longer in existence.
