The Perth Amboy Panthers boys basketball program has one of the richest basketball histories in Middlesex County. Perth Amboy dominated the Middlesex County Tournament during its early years. From the 1964-65 season to the 1975-76 campaign, the Panthers appeared in 10 MCT Championship Games with 8 titles. During those 12 seasons, Amboy won at least 20 games each year.
