Monroe and Perth Amboy Competing in Christmas Tourney at MTHS
MONROE, NJ–On Monday, GMC Hoops received information on the 2016 Monroe Township Holiday Tournament, which will be taking place over the holidays at Monroe High School. Four teams will be competing in the tourney including the host school, Monroe and Perth Amboy, both from the GMC Red.
The tournament will take place over two days: Tuesday, December 27th and Thursday, December 29th. Last year, there was also a girls tournament, but this year, Monroe’s girls basketball team is competing in the WOBM Classic down in Toms River. Below is the schedule for the two days:

- Perth Amboy vs. Brick Township, 4:00 PM
- Robbinsville vs. Monroe, 6:00 PM
2016 Monroe Township Holiday Tournament–Day Two–December 29th
- Consolation: Brick Township vs. Monroe, 4:00 PM
- Championship: Perth Amboy vs. Robbinsville, 6:00 PM
