Ahr’s Boslet Selected as Tourney MVP
NOTE: The 2019 All GMCT Girls Team is selected by Greg Machos and James Corrigan of GMC Hoops with exception of Tourney MVP.
EDISON, NJ—On Friday evening, the top seeded Bishop Ahr Girls Basketball team won its first GMCT crown since 2001 with a 47-32 decision over second seeded Edison in the 2019 Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament at Middlesex County College.
Bishop Ahr’s Emma Boslet, who scored 11 points while grabbing 6 rebounds was selected as the GMCT Girls MVP. Boslet, who now has 1,416 career points, averaged 16.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game during the course of the tourney. Through the first three rounds of the tourney, Boslet also averaged 6.0 assists, 3.0 blocks, and 2.7 steals, per contest as per NJ.com.
Boslet is one of three different Bishop Ahr players to be selected to the 2019 All GMCT Girls Team. Below are the selections:
