Good afternoon everyone. It has been about a week since I last posted to this blog. I’ve been quite busy with my Hurricane site, Hurricaneville.com, and my weather site, Greg’s Weather Center in addition to doing some work on the SHOTMAN Basketball Camps web site for my friend, Mike Lanza. However, I have been keeping track of the status of the GMCBCA Senior All-Star Game. Earlier this week, I contacted Cardinal McCarrick’s head coach, Joe Lewis, who indicated to me that the GMC is shooting for having the All-Star Game on April 10th in Perth Amboy. He added that he will get back to me when the date becomes definite.
Several weeks ago, I received several inquiries on the status of this game, and all I was able to get was that the game was proposed originally to occur on April 3rd in Perth Amboy, but nothing had happened since that date was proposed. Since April 3rd was coming up (acutally tomorrow), I decided to get in touch with some folks to see what was happening as far as the game was concerned. I’ll post something in the blog as soon as I hear any updated information. Last year, GMC Hoops did not attend the game since it was held on a Thursday night, which was a time I had to work. However, this year, the web site does intend to cover the event. The last time the site covered the GMCBCA All-Star Game was in 2006.
