Three GMC Teams in Very Competitive Field at SPHS This Year
SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ–On Friday morning, GMC Hoops learned that three teams from the Greater Middlesex Conference: Â J.P. Stevens, Perth Amboy, and South Plainfield are competing again this year at the 2014 Anthony J. Cotoia Tournament over the holidays. Â This year looks to be the most competitive tourney field since its inception back in 2009. Â Teams include: Â Once a two time T of C finalist Plainfield and Union Catholic. Â Four conferences are represented in the field: Â GMC (J.P. Stevens, Perth Amboy, and South Plainfield), Colonial Valley Conference (Ewing), Skyland Conference (Immaculata) and Union County Conference (Plainfield, Summit, and Union Catholic). Â Below is the schedule for the three days (December 26, 29, and 30).
