Big Summer Ahead For South Plainfield Hoops

Tigers Plan To Play At Scarlet Shootout As Well As Rahway Summer League

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ–On Friday afternoon, GMC Hoops received word from South Plainfield High School boys basketball head coach, Bob Conway, that the Tigers will be competing in the upcoming Scarlet Shootout at Rutgers University during the weekend of June 11th and 12th. SPHS will also be competing again in the Rahway Summer League while the Junior Varsity will be playing in the Colonia JV Summer League. Already this off-season, the Tigers have competed in the Kean Spring League. South Plainfield is looking to improve on this past season’s 6-15 mark, and further develop the solid young talent coming up from the freshman team.
