UNION, NJ–On Wednesday night, GMC Hoops traveled over to Kean University’s Harwood Arena to take in the contest between Sayreville and Barringer II in the 2016 Kean Spring League. In an up and down game sprinkled with some physical play, Sayreville nearly climbed all the way back from an 14 point early second half deficit to pull within single digits with under 8 minutes to play, but couldn’t get any closer as Barringer II pulled away with a 12-2 tear over a span of 6:56 to take a 56-39 lead en route to a 56-42 victory.
