Here are highlights from the second half of Sayreville’s win over Roselle Park on day one of the 2016 EB Team Camp. In the second game of the first hour of action at the 2016 East Brunswick Team Camp at Hammarskjold Middle School, Sayreville was taking on Roselle Park in a non-conference battle.
Leading 42-31 several minutes into the second half, Sayreville went on a 17-6 tear over a span of about four minutes as Henny Mautes struck for 10 of those points on two threes and two layups. Roselle Park battled back though with a 16-3 rally over the next 6:06 to pull within nine to make things interesting, but the Bombers, playing without its big three of Ryan O’Leary, Jahsim Floyd, and Elijah Clark for this first game, managed to hang on for the 68-62 victory.
