J.P. Stevens and South Brunswick Competing in 2019 Coaches vs. Cancer Shootout at Montgomery

Hawks and Vikings Representing GMC in Annual Showcase at Montgomery HS

SKILLMAN, NJ—On Thursday, GMC Hoops learned from Montgomery Boys Basketball head coach, Kris Grundy, that the 2019 Coaches vs. Cancer Shootout will take place at Montgomery High School on January 12th, and will have 8 games during the course of the day starting at 9:00 AM in the morning, and finishing up with the nightcap game at 8:00 PM.

There are a total of 7 conferences that are represented in this year’s shootout including:

  • Burlington County Scholastic League (Cinnaminson)
  • Colonial Conference (Haddon Township)
  • Colonial Valley Conference (Lawrence)
  • Greater Middlesex Conference (J.P. Stevens and South Brunswick)
  • Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference (Hackettstown and West Morris Central)
  • Shore Conference (Raritan)
  • Skyland Conference (Bernards, Bridgewater-Raritan, Immaculata, Montgomery, North Plainfield, Voorhees, and Watchung Hills)

J.P. Stevens, which went undefeated and won the Rahway Summer League Championship, and South Brunswick, which reached the semifinals of the Odie Page Summer League, will represent the GMC in the event with the Hawks playing Immaculata at 10:30 AM and the Vikings taking on Cinnaminson at 6:30 PM.
