COLONIA, NJ—In the first game of the Colonia JV Summer League playoff tripleheader at CHS, the host school, Colonia Patriots battled Old Bridge in the first semifinal at 5:00 PM. Trailing 21-19 with 3:45 to go in the first half, Colonia hit three treys over the next 9:26 to take a 28-21 lead with 13:32 remaining. However, Old Bridge rallied behind Connor Freel as they put together a 23-9 surge over a span of 13:21 to take a 44-37 lead before winning 45-40.
