2023 Middlesex JV Summer League Update

JV League Hits Max Capacity of 16 Teams

MIDDLESEX, NJ – Recently, GMC Hoops was contacted by Middlesex varsity boys basketball head coach, Jared Goldstein with a 2023 Middlesex JV Summer League Update.  For the first time in league history, it has reached the maximum capacity of 16 teams.  In addition, the league will play all of its games at Von E. Mauger Middle School due to the construction going on at the high school.

All Games at Mauger Middle School This Summer

Mauger Middle School is located on Fisher Avenue in Middlesex.  Games will be played three days per week:  Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  There will be four Thursdays where games will start at 3:30 PM.  Each team will play 10 games, and there are no playoffs.  The league will run from June 21st to July 27th.  The cost is $650 per team.  Registration and payment are due by June 5th.  Mail registration forms and payment to the following:

In past years, teams that have played in the league included:  Bridgewater-Raritan, East Brunswick, Hunterdon Central, Immaculata, J.P. Stevens, Middlesex, New Providence, Ridge, and South Plainfield.  Over the past few years, GMC Hoops has provided some coverage of this league and plans to return this summer. The Middlesex JV Summer League has grown by leaps and bounds in its six years of existence.
