PLAINFIELD, NJ–On Friday evening, GMC Hoops took a short trip up the road to Koinonia Academy to see the Seraphs host East. Brunswick Tech in a non-conference clash. The Tigers jumped out to a 21-6 first quarter lead and didn’t let the Seraphs get any closer than 9 points the rest of the way en route to a 55-41 win. Enudy Jiminez led all scorers with a game high 14 points while Lanier Smith chipped in with 10 for EB Tech. Ryan McCabe had a team high 11 points, all scored in the 2nd half while Aaron Wartmann chipped in with 9. Below are game notes from the contest:
First Quarter

Third Quarter
6:18 left in the third quarter and EB Tech leads 29-15 after a floater by Josh Brody as he was fouled to end a 6-2 Koinonia run.
3:09 left in the third and EB Tech leads 34-21 on a basket down low by Enudy Jiminez for a three point play. Ends a 6-3 run by Koinonia.
2:25 left in the third and EB Tech now leads 36-21 after a jumper just inside the arc on the left side by Noah Westbrook off a kickout by Saadiq Riles.
