Here is a slideshow of photos from the action in the GMC Hoops Freshmen Game of the Week for opening day of the 2015-16 Greater Middlesex Conference Boys Basketball season between North Brunswick and East Brunswick. The Freshmen Game of the Week between the Freshmen Bears of EB and the Freshmen Raiders of North Brunswick started out competitively with EB outscoring NBTHS by only a 19-13 margin in the first period. However, over the next 20 or so minutes, the Freshmen Bears put together a 33-4 showing to take a 52-17 lead midway through the fourth before North Brunswick finished the game on a 6-3 run to close out the 55-23 EB victory. Sal Salsa led EB’s balanced attack with 12 points while Orion Gilliam led North Brunswick with 11.
