MONROE, NJ–On Tuesday night, GMC Hoops took in a 9:00 PM contest at the 2016 MSC Fall League between Metuchen and West Windsor-Plainsboro North in a clash between big schools and small schools.
The Bulldogs fell into a 15-4 first half hole as they couldn’t get their offense on track. Metuchen did close the gap to single digits by halftime, but would later trail 30-16 midway through the second half before making a run.
Led by Riley Watkins, Thomas Christine, and Ethan Lebovits, the Bulldogs put together an 8-0 run that narrowed the deficit to 30-24 with about four minutes to play. Metuchen wasn’t able to get any closer though as West Windsor-Plainsboro North scored the last six points of the contest for a 30-24 win. Below are game notes from the action:
