HAMILTON, NJ–On Thursday afternoon, GMC Hoops traveled down to New Jersey Turnpike, and over onto Interstate 195 to Steinert High School to see the South Brunswick Vikings in scrimmage action against the hometown Spartans. The site saw four quarters of action including one period between the two JV squads. It was a close contest for the most part with Steinert winning two of the periods while one ended in a tie. The Vikings rallied to win the fourth period of play that was seen as senior Kory Sanders came up with a four point play, and then handed out an assist with a dump off pass for the quarter deciding bucket. Steinert won overall by a 53-43 score thanks to a 19-9 showing in the third of four periods covered.
