Recent Snowstorms Have Forced Cancellations of Many Games
ROBBINSVILLE, NJ–On Wednesday morning, GMC Hoops learned from NJ.com that the NJSIAA has pushed back the date of the state tournament cutoff from Saturday to Monday. The recent stretch of wintry weather that included last week’s so called blizzard, and the mixed bag of precipitation along with a flash freeze on Monday has forced many schools including those in the Greater Middlesex Conference to cancel games. The wintry weather pattern that we have been seeing is expected to continue for a while including some light snow from Wednesday night into Thursday, and possibly a more significant storm starting on Sunday.
