SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ–Good morning everyone. Sorry that I’ve been away for the past two weeks or so, but I’ve been busy with other things. I continue to get better, and am looking forward to coming out to Perth Amboy this evening to see the 2009 GMCBCA Senior All-Star Game. This will be the third time in the past four seasons that GMC Hoops will be covering the event, which will have a special game added to the schedule this time around.
Another question that I would like to answer at this time is about the status of the GMC Hoops Awards for the 2008-09 season. Now, while I missed a great deal of this past season, I will have seen 44 games with tonight’s festivities. So, that is still plenty of basketball to work with. Therefore, the 2009 GMC Hoops Awards are still on. They may be scaled back to an extent, but I’m hopeful that we can put something up there to reward the kids I saw play this season.
