ELIZABETH, NJ–On Tuesday, GMC Hoops traveled up to the Dunn Center for the third time this summer to see action from the 2011 Elizabeth Summer League. In one of the two 5:00 PM games, St. Joseph’s took on Columbia of Maplewood. The Cougars jumped out to a 21-9 second quarter lead before the Falcons went on a 9-4 run over the last 6:18 of the period to trail by a 25-18 margin at the half. However, Columbia put together a 20-2 tear in the third quarter for a 45-20 lead en route to a 54-27 victory. Below is the play-by-play from the contest:
