Ahr Edges EB; Joes Rolls Past Franklin; Middlesex and P-Way Fall
SOMERVILLE, NJ–On the final day of action at the 2016 Immaculata Fall League, GMC Hoops covered 8 of the 9 games including all four involving teams from the Greater Middlesex Conference. Bishop Ahr got the big win of the day with a 54-49 victory over East Brunswick.
St. Joseph’s finished the season on a strong note with a 50-28 win over Franklin in the second game of the day. Led by Jake Robel, and the three point shooting of guards, Chris Hendricks and Tyler Ha, Middlesex gave Bridgewater-Raritan all it could handle before the Panthers put together a decisive 17-2 tear to win 62-54.
Piscataway, which entered the day tied for third in the league, took on Morristown, one of two teams tied for first. The Chiefs gave the Colonials a battle until early on in the second half. Following a three pointer by Cameron Saintil for a 23-19 lead, Motown went on a pivotal 22-3 surge for a 41-26 lead en route to a 46-34 win. Below are all the scores from the final day of the season:
