NEPTUNE, NJ–With less than a week to go before the start of the 2008 Rebounds Spring League, GMC Hoops went to work on finding out what teams, especially those from the GMC, are competing in this league. On Wednesday morning, the site contacted Joe Stein of Rebounds, who indicated that only one team from the Greater Middlesex Conference has signed up to be in the league: East Brunswick. If you recall, last year, the Bears also participated in the league along with South Amboy and Monroe. Stein did go on further to indicate that the start date of the league may be pushed back to April 21st so that more teams including those from the GMC, can sign up to play. We will continue to update everyone on the progress of this league.
