SOUTH AMBOY, NJ–After taking the day off on Monday, the 2008 Raritan Bay Summer League resumed on Tuesday night with a full slate of games to kick off the fourth week of action at the air conditioned South Amboy Middle/High School. Opening up the day’s schedule was a game out of the 3rd and 4th Grade Division between Colts Neck and Monroe at 5:30 PM. Following that was a contest between Parlin and St. Ambrose from the 7th and 8th Grade Division. Then, in the 7:30 PM game, Metuchen was taking on the Scarlet Nets from the 5th and 6th Grade Division, and finally, in the nightcap, East Brunswick was battling Sayreville in the High School Division. The winners from that set of action were: Monroe over Colts Neck giving the latter its first loss of the summer, Parlin over St. Ambrose, Metuchen over the Scarlet Nets, and East Brunswick over Sayreville.
