GMC Well Represented By Former Standouts At Star-Ledger College Summer League

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–On Sunday night, GMC Hoops traveled over to the Barn on College Avenue to take in the first night of action at the 2008 Star-Ledger College Summer League. This is the third year that the league is being run. There were two games on tap that night, and for the first time in the brief history of the league, both opening night games went to overtime with AXA Advisors downing VP Builders in the extra session, 115-103 while Bignell Planning overcame an 18 point deficit with 14 minutes to go to defeat D’Annunzio & Sons by a score of 103-99 in the extra period.

The real story of opening night was the fact that there are many former players from the Greater Middlesex Conference that are taking part in this year’s action. Below are a list of former GMC standouts that are competing:
