Linden’s Luc Steps Down As Assistant Coach

LINDEN, NJ–On Tuesday night, GMC Hoops learned directly from Marty Luc that he has stepped down from his position as assistant coach at Linden High School. Luc, a former head coach at Rahway High School, has left the job to focus on getting his Master’s Degree in Education. While Luc was on the staff at Linden, the Tigers reached three straight sectional finals, and won two consecutive Group IV Championships including a victory over South Brunswick in the 2007 Group IV Final at Rutgers University. This past season, Linden reached the North Jersey Section 2 Group IV Championship at the Dunn Center in Elizabeth before losing to Piscataway. Luc, who has been a great help to the site with info on Linden, and the various camps and leagues run there each year, will be missed. Best of luck Marty!
