Eastern Team Camp–July 9, 2008–Results

EWING, NJ–On Wednesday, the 2008 Eastern Invitational Basketball Team Camp got underway at the College of New Jersey with 71 teams playing in three separate divisions. Three teams from the Greater Middlesex Conference were in action including: Cardinal McCarrick, Monroe, and St. Joseph’s. All three GMC teams competed in the American Division with St. Joseph’s reaching the Second Round before losing in heartbreaking fashion to the Nia School. There was also a team from Edison, but GMC Hoops believes that it was an AAU team of some sort. Ian Turnbull of CJEOTO was coaching the team. The site will look into this to confirm whether or not this was indeed an AAU team. Below are the results from the first day of action:

GMC Hoops was out at the College of New Jersey on Thursday to take in the second, and final day of action. A summary on that will be available later.
