SOUTH AMBOY, NJ–On Thursday night, July 17th, the eighth week of action concluded at the 2008 Raritan Bay Summer League in the air conditioned confines of South Amboy Middle/High School. Like it has been most of the summer, there was a full slate of four games starting at 5:30 PM, and continuing at 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM before wrapping up with the finale at 8:30 PM. GMC Hoops did not attend any of the action in this league since it was at the Middlesex County College Summer League, Bound Brook Summer League, and the TBSA Summer League to see some of the action there. Below are the results from Thursday night’s action thanks to Tom Reilly, who helps run the league:
- St. Ambrose 38–Monroe 35–7th and 8th Grade Division
- Union Catholic 56–Sayreville 43–High School Division
- Franklin 55–Metuchen 30–5th and 6th Grade Division
- CJEOTO 57–South Amboy 31–5th and 6th Grade Division
GMC Hoops hopes to catch some action from this league later this week. Raritan Bay will not have any games the following week, and will resume play on July 28th.
