SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ–On Friday, the South Plainfield Alliance for Substance Awareness, is starting up their annual Middle School Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament. Games will be played at the South Plainfield Middle School with the SPMS girls team starting their game at 4:00 PM while the boys will be playing at 5:30 PM. SPASA is a great organization for awareness on drugs and substance abuse. Along with Ricochet, it sponsors the annual 5K Run that precedes the very popular South Plainfield Labor Day Parade. So, come on out, and check out the upcoming talent in the GMC as well as support a good cause. More details will be available on this tournament soon.
