SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ–With Wednesday night’s scheduled appearance at the 2009 GMCBCA Senior All-Star Game at Perth Amboy High School, GMC Hoops will have seen his 663rd game all time over the nine years of coverage it has devoted to Greater Middlesex Conference Boys Basketball. If everything goes right during the 2009-10 season, GMC Hoops should see his 700th game sometime in January 2010.
In addition to the 663 high school hoops games, the web site has branched out, and seen 13 high school football games over the past two years, and 10 college basketball games for a grand total of 686 games since December 2000. Although the site only saw 44 games this past year, it still has managed to average almost 74 games per season. Hopefully with better health, next year we’ll be back covering things like before.
