SOUTH AMBOY, NJ–On Tuesday, GMC Hoops received updated information on the 2009 Raritan Bay Summer League that will be run again this summer in the always air conditioned South Amboy Middle/High School. Tom Reilly provided the following new information about this year’s league:
The Raritan Bay Basketball League is set to begin on Tuesday, May 26 with 4 games. We will play 4 games per night until June 11. Beginning June 15, there will be 3 games per night. No games will be played on the following dates: June 9 and June 18. In addition, there will be no Games will be played on Friday’s.
As of right now we can confirm the following divisions:
- Third and Fourth Grade
- Fifth and Sixth Grade
- Seventh and Eighth Grade
- High School
The cost of the league will be $400.00 plus $35.00 per game for the referee’s. Please confirm your participation in the league. Since we can only have 3 games per night in July and August, the amount of teams will be less than in previous years. Teams will be admitted until we reach our maximum.
