Here are the highlights from the first quarter of play between the Golden Falcons of Monmouth Regional, and the Owls of Highland Park last Friday night at HPHS. Monmouth Regional jumped to an early lead thanks to an 82 yard run by Devonte Thomas, a transfer from Asbury Park. The Falcons eventually led 20-0 with 4:30 to go in the third before Nate Smith led Highland Park back to tie things up at 20-20 with 6:48 remaining. Monmouth ultimately prevailed though with a field goal in the final minute for the 23-20 victory. Enjoy the highlights.
