Bishop Ahr Edges Spotswood In Early Season Showdown

NORTH EDISON, NJ–Senior guard, Darius Griffin, led a balanced scoring attack with 11 points on three field goals and five foul shots as seventh ranked Bishop Ahr won a key early season GMC Blue Showdown against Spotswood. The Chargers got a game high 18 points from senior Cody Pace, who now has 900 for his career, and 15 points from fellow senior, Tyler Osofsky, but it wasn’t enough as Ahr had eight players breaking into the scoring column while only five did for Spotswood. Chipping in for the winners were Manny Kroggmann and Pat Widdoss, who both scored 10 points. Mike Liming helped out the Chargers in a losing cause with 10 points.
