Refreshments Menu Expanding At Raritan Bay?

Lange Proudly Announces Famous Dogs Sell Out On Tuesday Night And Meatball Subs On Tap For Wednesday

SOUTH AMBOY, NJ–It’s another season at the Raritan Bay Summer League, and with it has come with some more controversy and criticism from officials and the media covering the league. Last Wednesday during GMC Hoops first night of coverage, officials complained about the lack of circulation in the gym, which has been heralded in the past for its air conditioning. One of the lights was also spotted as out by one of the league’s co-directors.

On top of that, Gary Lange has been dealing with scheduling issues. Nevertheless, the much maligned Lange has battled through it all, and managed to keep the Lange Dogs on the menu much to the delight of many attending the nightly contests at South Amboy High School. At the start of the fourth game on Tuesday night, the site was notified by Tom Reilly that the world renowned Lange Dogs sold out during the third game of the quadrupleheader.

There have been demands by some to even expand the menu of delicacies offered at the refreshments stand. Suggestions for subs, buffalo wings, pizza, chicken tenders, and cheese steaks. While Lange has stood firm on the limited menu, he did offer last night to perhaps adding Meatball Subs with his world famous spaghetti sauce for Wednesday night’s games. GMC Hoops has enjoyed his share of the Lange Dogs having two on Wednesday night, one on Thursday, and another last night. We’re hopeful meatball subs will be on tap tonight.
