Barrons To Compete In Rahway Summer League

Woodbridge Also Plans To Compete In The 2010 Scarlet Shootout

WOODBRIDGE, NJ–On Thursday night, GMC Hoops learned from Woodbridge High School Boys Basketball coach, Antoine Patterson, that the Barrons are another team from the Greater Middlesex Conference that will be competing in the new summer league in Rahway this year. Last year, Woodbridge competed in the Elizabeth Summer League while two years ago, the Barrons played in the TBSA Summer League.

In addition, Woodbridge also will be competing in the 2010 Scarlet Shootout at Rutgers next weekend. The Barrons were only 6-16 last year including a 4-11 mark in the Red Division, but they will be returning both Keith Hughes and Kyle Pearson as well as a host of other sophomores along with talented freshman point guard Duquan Bailey. In addition, Woodbridge will be moving down from the Red Division to the White Division for the 2010-11 campaign.
