BASKING RIDGE, NJ–On Thursday afternoon, GMC Hoops learned from Ridge Athletic Director, Rich Shello, that Ridge is looking for several more teams to compete in this year’s upcoming Len Sepanak Tournament. In past years, teams from the GMC such as Piscataway, Colonia, North Brunswick, and Perth Amboy have competed in the tourney.
However, Piscataway is going to play in a holiday tournament in Bridgewater this year. According to Shello, “We are looking for either 3 or 4 boys teams.” So far, the teams that are participating in this year’s tournament are: Ridge, Rutgers Prep, Union, and Irvington. Last year, the teams that participated included: Colonia, Gill St. Bernard’s, Immaculata, Irvington, Piscataway, and Ridge.
