SOMERVILLE, NJ–On Sunday night, GMC Hoops traveled over to Immaculata High School in Somerville to take in some of the action from the fourth night of the 2010 annual Immaculata Fall League. The site saw two of the five games played at IHS, and both involved GMC teams. The GMC lost both contests that we saw. Below are the results from the two contests:
2010 Immaculata Fall League–Week Four–Some Results
- Immaculata 62–Bishop Ahr 45–The Spartans closed the game with a 24-12 surge over the final 16:59 to pull away from a 38-33 lead. Pat Widdoss led Bishop Ahr with 16 points on 6 of 10 shooting, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks. Darien McDuffie sparked Immaculata with 13 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block.
- Hillsborough 47–Middlesex 35–The Raiders went on an 8-3 run over a span of 3:03 to take a 43-27 lead with 7:27 left. The Blue Jays, which dropped to 0-4 on the fall, closed the game with an 8-4 run to lose by a dozen.
