The Cardinals had taken a 44-32 lead late in the third quarter before the Orange Wave rallied with a 32-19 surge to take a 64-63 lead. Dijon Jordan and Jahmal Lane then scored to give Plainfield a 67-64 lead before Jaquan Lynch hit a three from the left corner with 48 seconds left to tie the score at 67-67. Allen Brown then got his only points of the game with two free throws at the 26 second mark, but after a TJHS timeout with 10.4 seconds remaining, Davontay Grace sank a jumper that beat the buzzer for the 71-69 victory. Jordan ended up with 24 points while Sekou Harris chipped in with 20 points. Grace ended up with 14 points for the Orange Wave.
