Central Jersey Hawks Running 14th Annual Shore Shootout Tourney
MONROE, NJ–Earlier this week, GMC Hoops was notified by Bill Howarth of the Central Jersey Hawks about the upcoming 2011 Shore Shootout, which will take place on June 3rd, 4th, and 5th. This is the 14th year that the tourney is being run with 100 teams from six different states competing last year.
The tourney is still looking for more teams. Coaches are urged to register as soon as possible. AAU teams ranging from 9U to 18U are participating. Here are the basics:
- A/B/C levels of play offering the Best Competition
- All games have a timer and scorekeeper / All games stop clock
- 16 minute halves 12U+ / 14 minute halves 11U and under
- $400/ 3 games Guaranteed ($375 Multi-team discount) plus Championship Game in all age groups
Locations for this event include Holmdel Township school gyms as well as the air conditioned Monroe Sports Center. Other gyms/locations in Monmouth County will be used as needed.
