LIVINGSTON, NJ–On Tuesday, GMC Hoops received information from the Matthew J. Morahan III Health Assessment Center concerning a couple of free screenings being offered in October.
On Saturday, October 1, 2011, there will be both a Cardiac Screening and a Concussion Screeening offered at Saint Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center on 200 South Orange Avenue in Livingston, New Jersey from 8:00 AM to noon.
The Cardiac Screening is for young athletes from the ages of 6 to 18 years old, and open to the first 150 athletes. The Concussion Screening is for young athletes, 12 years old and up, and open to the first 75 athletes. Registration is required.
