RAHWAY, NJ–On Friday night, GMC Hoops saw the final day of regular season action at the 2011 Rahway Summer League at Rahway High School. The site saw the final two contests including the finale between J.P. Stevens and Dunellen. The Hawks, which were playing with seven players while Dunellen only had five, jumped out to a 13-3 lead, and never looked back in a 49-24 victory. Marvin Crawford led Stevens with a nice all around game consisting of 17 points, 8 rebounds, 5 blocks, 3 steals, and 3 assists while John Maxham chipped in with 12 points. Xavier Johnson helped wrap up the win with all 7 of his points in the second half. Deon Brown led Dunellen with 14 points while Sean Gibney added 8 points. Below is the play-by-play from the game.
