DUNELLEN, NJ–On Friday afternoon, GMC Hoops traveled out to The Faber in Dunellen to see the Destroyers in action in a scrimmage against South Plainfield. Both teams each won two quarters while the JV teams split a quarter each. Dunellen got the overall edge in both the varsity and JV scrimmages. The DHS varsity defeated South Plainfield in their scrimmage, 34-28 while the Junior Destroyers edged the Junior Tigers by a score of 10-9. Below is a play-by-play from the varsity scrimmage.
First Quarter
