GMC Hoops Play-By-Play–Dunellen @ Spotswood–Crossover Clash–December 23, 2011

SPOTSWOOD, NJ–On Friday night, GMC Hoops finished up a busy week by seeing the only game on the schedule in the Greater Middlesex Conference between Dunellen and Spotswood. For three periods, the Destroyers gave the Chargers all that they could handle, but it wasn’t enough as Dalonte Grant fired in 24 points, and Tommy Soulias chipped in with 17 to lead Spotswood to a 56-37 victory.

Jake Dadika added 8 points and 6 assists. The Chargers had 11 threes including five by Grant, four by Soulias, and two from Dadika. Leading only 28-22 at the half, the Chargers got three treys from Grant in the third including one at the end of the period for a 42-32 lead. Soulias then opened the fourth with a trey of his own for a 45-32 lead. Spotswood only limited Dunellen to five points in the final period. Sean Gibney and Dylan Hoski led DHS in a losing cause with 11 points each. Below is the play-by-play from the game.

First Quarter
