GMC Hoops Play-By-Play–Carteret vs. Edison–Haley Tourney–Opening Round–December 27, 2011

ISELIN, NJ–In the second game of the opening round doubleheader of the 2011 Gene Haley Memorial Tournament at J.F. Kennedy, Carteret took on Edison. Led by 16 points from senior forward Avery Carter, the Ramblers jumped out to a 10-2 first quarter lead, and then scored the final seven points of the first half for a 26-12 lead. After Edison clawed back to within ten thanks to the efforts of senior Kevin Luckenback, Carteret put the game out of reach with a 19-8 tear that lasted into the fourth quarter for a 53-32 lead. CHS went on to win from there by the final of 61-43. Below is the play-by-play from the contest.
