KEANSBURG, NJ–On Wednesday morning, GMC Hoops traveled over to Keansburg High School to see the consolation game between South Amboy and Henry Hudson in the Keansburg Holiday Tournament. Leading 28-23 at the half, the Guvs put together a 14-4 tear to open the third quarter as sophomore Steve Herdman connected on four treys during the spurt for a 42-27 lead. The Guvs led by as many as 16 in the fourth quarter before winning 57-45. Herdman ended up with 22 points including six threes to earn All Tournament honors. Below is the play-by-play from the game:
