Here are video highlights from the opening round matchup between South Brunswick and New Brunswick in the 2011 Brunswick Classic at North Brunswick High School. The Zebras had a 34-30 lead in the fourth quarter when South Brunswick rallied with a 12-3 spurt for a 42-37 lead with under three minutes to play.
New Brunswick battled back to tie the game at 42-42 on a conventional three point play at the 2:04 mark by Milton Pittman and a pair of free throws by Samaad Thomas at the 1:20 mark. The Vikings went ahead for good though as junior Sean Keenan drove in for a score at the 1:03 mark while Michael Green sealed the win with two late free throws.
Junior forward Chris Bourne led the Vikes with 14 points and 15 rebounds while Green and T.J. Taylor each added 9. Thomas recorded a double-double as well with 13 points and 13 rebounds while Pittman had a team high 15 for NBHS.
